Accounts & Audit Senior - Hammersmith & Fulham, London

Our Client:

My client is a well established Accountancy practice in the UK offering the highest level of accountancy, audit, consultancy to both SMEs and large corporates around the UK, and they are looking for an experienced Audit & Accounts Senior to join their team.

My client is looking for the best audit seniors in the industry, who must be 2 years PQE, hold a professional qualification and have a passion and focus to progress their career.

Roles & Responsibilities of the Audit & Accounts Senior role in Hammersmith & Fulham, London:

  • Assist in the planning, execution and finalisation of all areas of the audit assignment
  • Most of the working week will be based in main office with some off-site visits to client's premises
  • Produce work for the manager or partner to review, clearly highlighting issues and providing potential solutions to issues identified
  • Identify and understand client needs, suggest potential solutions on technical matters
  • Communicate and agree client needs and potential solutions with managers
  • Active engagement with clients to gain a good understanding of their business and ensure efficient execution of the audit
  • Take primary responsibility for monitoring progress against budget
  • Supervise, coach and develop junior members of staff within teams, on client premises and in the office

The ideal candidate for this Accounts & Audit Senior Role in Hammersmith & Fulham, London:

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA or overseas equivalent
  • 2 years PQE in a minimum of a 2-partner firm
  • Experience supervising and coaching junior members of staff on site
  • Working knowledge of firm services, issues regarding advice, and regulation and compliance, including anti-money laundering
  • Demonstrable knowledge of current economic and market trends
  • Experience with listed clients, SME clients, auditing international groups etc
  • Strong client service focus
  • Strong analytical, project management skills
  • Good Excel and modelling skills
  • Friendly outgoing person who is keen to learn and take on more responsibility as the practice grows
  • Knowledge of Xero accounting software preferred

What's on offer?

  • Competitive salary £38,000 - £45,000, depending on experience
  • Working hours of 09:30 - 17:30, Monday - Friday
