Our client are a large local government organisation and are looking for an experienced Desktop Support professional to join their team. This is initially a 3 month contract which may be extended for the right candidate. Our client is looking for someone who can come on board and provide first and second line support being responsible for desktop devices.
The successful applicant will undertake routine installations and de-installations of items of hardware and software as well as conducting tests of hardware and software using test procedures and diagnostic tools. You will correct malfunctions and call on external resources if required.
The successful applicant will be an experienced Desktop Support professional preferably with experience of working within a public sector environment. You will also have experience of supporting Windows 7, 8.1 and 10 Operating systems along with MS Office 2010 and 2013. You will also have experience in using App-V 4.6 and SCCM.
