Salary: Circa £30k

Working hours: Monday to Friday | 7:30am - 4:00pm (1:30pm Friday)

The role:

To provide engineering support in the design, development and operation of all manufacturing systems to continuously improve productivity and economically produce products of maximum quality. This will include:

- Develop, configure and optimize production processes from inception through to start up and certification
- Assess processes, take measurements and interpret data
- Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes
- Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output
- Perform process simulations
- Manage cost and time constraints
- Perform risk assessments
- Provide process documentation and operating instructions

Criteria:

- Relevant qualification in an engineering or technical discipline (degree, HND, HNC or equivalent)
- Previous experience within a manufacturing engineering environment
- IT literate, proficient in MS Office
- Solid analytical and problem solving skills
- Proven project management skills
- Experience of CAD/CAM systems - Desirable
- Experience of Continuous Improvement Tools/ Techniques - Highly Desirable
