Head of Analytics - B2C FTSE - £90K - £140K base excellent package
Head of Analytics - B2C FTSE - £90K - £140K base + Excellent package (upon request) - London
It isn?t often you?re briefed on a transformation where the strategy is still on the whiteboard behind you, the product of 6 months? hard work. Ha!
The mission statement created by the CEO and CDO was up on the board and it read:
?Use data in every decision in customer experience to obsessively make our offering easier and better value for customers?
Our client is one of the preeminent B2C financial services business in the FTSE100 and it?s on a journey to change the industry. It?s clear, this is the start of something big.
The recently appointed CDO has been tasked with ?Engineering Data into the DNA of the business?. Financial Services is that last bastion in customer data, while as an industry it has customer service (which our client enjoys a phenomenal reputation for) it is not driven by customer data. This is going to change. This is not a project or a programme, this is a new way of life for our client.
We are looking for a Head of Analytics to help our client become the best company in its industry when it comes to understanding its customers. This is one of the first and most important appointments to be made.
In short, The Head of Analytics will lead our client on a journey to understand its customers and their value.
You will set the analytics vision and strategy to transform the approach to analytics across the organisation; you will drive innovation and adoption of new skills, methods, tools and technologies and further develop the data science capability and roadmap for machine learning.
Our client wants to dial up on great (data) science and dial down on armies of analysts churning data and reports - so a level of expertise in this field is of utmost importance. It?s likely that you will have been in a consumer data and analytics role before and have moved a business into a real-time data science/machine learning product environment.
You, as the right person, will need to be someone who wants to make this as big as it could be. You will be technical, commercial and an evangelist for analytics.
We are not looking for someone who is a hands on machine learning expert, but you must be a great leader of those people with the ability to win over others.
We have much more information to share, so if this sounds like an opportunity that you are interested in, please get in touch with Steve Kilpatrick at Logikk.
