Integrity FT has an exciting opportunity for a Level 4 Software Developer Apprentice in the Sheffield Area, this role is located right next to Meadowhall, and is great for public transport. This role is for someone who is looking to complete a Level 4 IT qualification, so the applicant would need to have completed a relevant level 3 qualification, this could be via an apprenticeship, college, or sixth form.

Job Purpose:

The post holder will assist in the development of eLearning materials and packages, by providing the technical skills and expertise to convert new and existing educational content into innovative, creative and engaging eLearning materials.

Duties:

  • Convert new and existing educational content into innovative, creative and engaging eLearning materials.
  • Identify new and innovative software solutions
  • Design and test eLearning materials
  • Measure and monitor usage of materials
  • Maintain and administer the Virtual Learning Environment

Skills & Experience:

  • Knowledge of software packages
  • Level 3 IT apprenticeship, or related qualification
  • GCSE grade C or equivalent in Maths, English, and IT
  • Working knowledge of web authoring and web development software
  • Knowledge of web development standards and accessibility issues
  • Knowledge of Data Protection Act
  • Understanding of project management techniques
  • Creative and innovative
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • A good level of administration skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organisation skills and ability to use own initiative
