As our Technical Analyst you will ensure that technical architecture and infrastructure delivered as part of projects is fit for purpose, scalable, extendable and cost effective inline with larger business and architecture strategy.

Responsibilities as our Technical Analyst include:

- Review application level solution designs and translate into effective infrastructure designs for assigned projects.

- Review the need for technical integration within assigned projects, fully scope; document and prioritise requirements and ensure they are signed off by IT.

- Review security and data considerations within assigned projects, fully document and prioritise requirements and ensure they are signed off by IT.

- Investigate and identify relevant technology solutions.

- Ensure that agreement is reached across business functions and Group IT, particularly where there are conflicting interests.

- Provide cost and benefit estimates in order to support the justification for new projects.

- Ensure the right level and amount of testing takes place ahead of implementation.

- Review test plans and provide assistance for testing.

- Contribute to architecture governance on projects.

- Align solutions to the overall architecture strategy and governance framework.

- Working with the architecture governance and frameworks within Vitality and with 3rd party suppliers.

To become our Technical Analyst, you will have the below skills and experience

- Prior experience working in an organisation subject to regulation by the FCA and be familiar with the constraints this creates.

- Experience supporting the delivery of projects within a multi datacentre, multi geographic infrastructure including cloud technologies

- Demonstrable knowledge and experience defining solutions for system integrations (CRM) with middleware, AWS & UCDL

- ITIL v2/3 foundation certificate desirable

- Good communication skills back to key stakeholders

- Ability to produce and maintain high quality design, process and procedure documentation

- Proven experience of working in a Technical Analyst role within projects, providing solution design, project support and delivery of project architecture

- Experience in working with stakeholders to define infrastructure architecture strategy in alignment with business strategy and applications strategy.

- Effective skills in communication, negotiation and persuasion.

- Knowledge of architecture frameworks, patterns, techniques and methods.

Degree in an IT related subject

- ITIL V2/V3 foundation certificate

- Experiencing working in Agile environment
