Job Title - C# .NET Web Developer

Location - Alnwick

Salary - £30,000 - £40,000

Due to a number of exciting recent contract wins my client are looking for a web developer to work on a wide range of web projects. The role requires a dynamic and positive, self-driven individual that is keen to learn and capable of working well on their own as well as within a team.

Who will you be working for?

My client are a full service marketing agency covering traditional PR through to digital, across a wide range of sectors for both local and national clients. Having recently created an in house digital team they are looking for driven and positive individuals to expand their teams capabilities during this exciting period.

What will you be doing?

Predominantly you will be developing new functionality within the Umbraco CMS ****************) that is used for delivering dynamic and flexible websites to clients. You will also be involved in the full development lifecycle helping to produce scalable and manageable solutions.

The work is varied and exciting, dealing with all aspects of development, working on a number of client projects from large scale content managed websites through to bespoke virtual learning platforms.

Essential Skills

  • C# ASP.NET, MVC (2+ years)
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • HTML / CSS
  • JavaScript (jQuery)
  • Experience with large scale CMS preferably Umbraco, Sitecore etc

Desirable Skills

  • MVC 4 / 5
  • Experience with Umbraco CMS ****************)
  • Microsoft Entity Framework
  • HTML 5 / CSS 3
  • Experience in Agile Methodologies
  • Working knowledge of source control systems such as SVN / Git.
