The overall purpose of the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for someone ambitious with the flair and passion for all things digital to join us as a Marketing Manager. Your immediate responsibility will be to grow and develop a small team while working alongside our digital marketing agency to achieve business goals.

Among other things you will be responsible for developing Square One’s brand presence on all social media and digital channels, focusing on candidate and client attraction in-line with business needs.

Being hands-on is a must in this role! As is the ability to be unflappable, transparent, and self-driven to succeed.

You will need to:

Your key responsibilities are: (with support of your digital agency)

  • Ensuring the integrity, awareness, and promotion of our brand
  • Daily management, strategy, optimisation and content creation for all online platforms (social, website etc.)
  • Planning and implementing campaigns and events that focus on client and candidate acquisition
  • Monitoring, tracking and maximising ROI and making improvement plan
  • Job board management and optimisation
  • Website management and optimisation, including SEO
  • In-house training of all social media platforms and job boards, including best practices and profile optimisation
  • Monitoring social trends and technologies
  • Measuring, reporting and improving analytics across all social channels
  • Creating and updating all business-related collateral
  • Identify key challenges internally and offer innovative marketing solutions
  • Assisting sales managers and consultants in maximising the digital tools available to them

Skills and experience you will need:

  • Commercial experience of digital marketing in both the recruitment industry and the international sphere
  • Experience of using a CMS
  • Expertise with a range of platforms across all digital channels and disciplines including email, social, search and web
  • Experience of coordinating and building successful campaigns and showing ROI
  • Experience creating, delivering and measuring online marketing campaigns and activities across all areas in terms of social, design and content
  • Awareness / Experience of SEO
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Have a good knowledge of email marketing practices (incl. GDPR)
  • A positive, creative, and dynamic team player with a close eye for detail
  • Highly pro-active and independent
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to proactively analyse business problems in a fast-paced environment
