An interesting and rare opportunity has become available for a Product Manager with commercial & technical knowledge of WAN and Network Infrastructure Services. The WAN & Network Services Product Manager will take ownership for the technical and commercial success of the Network & Infrastructure product category including the technical creation of products and the operational delivery of this service portfolio in conjunction with the strategic and commercial roadmap.

The Product Manager will lead, develop, execute & manage the strategy & operational delivery of the Network & Infrastructure product suite for all Network services encompassing; Network, Infrastructure, WAN, Internet, Ethernet, Connectivity, IP, IPVPN, MPLS, Dedicated Internet Access Services (DIA) Software Defined Networking (SD-WAN), Network Function Virtualisation (NFV) etc.

You will assist in further building & enhancing the product portfolio to increase market penetration for this leading managed & integrated Internet & Communications solutions provider. Through helping to deliver the product management business plan, this role will combine technical expertise alongside commercial management & market positioning skills, engaging throughout the entire product lifecycle from go to market planning through to product positioning, launch, market penetration and end of life withdrawal.

This role requires a significant depth of technical and commercial knowledge of Network, Infrastructure, WAN, Internet, Ethernet, Connectivity, IP, IPVPN, MPLS, Dedicated Internet Access services to allow the successful candidate to contribute to the company's already successful product portfolio and strategy.

This includes a product portfolio comprising of seamless converged network, internet & managed IT software solutions.

The Product Manager will be responsible for the end to end lifecycle management of new and existing services including. Initially, gathering market requirements & commercial analysis, engaging throughout the full 360 degrees of the commercial, technical and product management lifecycle including involvement at both the strategic and operational levels. This may include providing business intelligence on; pricing, profitability, competitor analysis, market trends, regulatory developments, market opportunities, customer segmentation, customer insight, technical developments, emerging technologies etc.

The role holder will take ownership for supporting, developing & delivering the product plan, including creating & executing product launches. You will work with technical, development and service delivery teams to articulate the customer journey and customer experience requirements in addition to supporting sales and marketing efforts. The Product Manager will lead cross-functional project teams, will ensure the quality and speed of solution delivery, whilst creating and maintaining documentation, service level agreements, service descriptions and product overviews etc.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience within a similar role working for an ISP, Managed Hosting Provider, Carrier, Internet, Telecoms Operator or similar Managed Service environment.

Candidates will possess in-depth technical and commercial knowledge of the Network, Infrastructure, WAN, Internet, Ethernet, Connectivity, IP, IPVPN, MPLS, Dedicated Internet Access Services (DIA) Software Defined Networking (SD-WAN), Network Function Virtualisation (NFV) etc. markets.

Candidates will have experience in product definition, requirements capture and documentation as well as bid development in supporting customer propositions and solutions.
