Location: Gaydon, West Midlands

Hourly Rate: £31.17 Limited Company /Hourly rate

Position Description:

  • This is Software Project Manager Position within Infotainment department
  • The role would need to manage multiple software development and integration project to deliver Next Generation Infotainment software in line with deadlines.
  • They will require management of internal engineers as well as external partners
  • Manages large and complex projects of development in-vehicle systems
  • Project timeframes - 6-12 months
  • Manages the project34491 from the start to completion
  • Establish project plan baseline: project scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables’ quality, secure the necessary resources, risks, communication plan
  • Execute, Monitor and Control project: track project schedule, scope, budget, monitor & handle changes, conflicts & escalations
  • Develop the PM discipline: simplify processes, methods & tools with innovative ideas
  • Contribute to the development of a project management office tools and processes development

Skills Required:

  • System Integration
  • Project Management experience 4+ years
  • External supplier’s management experience

Experience Required:

  • Proven 4+ years' experience in the management of systems integration (SW + HW) and software development projects
  • Experience in Telecommunication, e-commerce or IT industries
  • Proven experience in leading multi-cultural and cross-functional teams, empowering and creating synergies in a matrix organization
  • Proven experience in managing external partners
  • Excellent communication skills to discuss project, technical and business related issues
  • Enthusiasm for software and the automotive industry
  • Work style characterizing high customer orientation
  • Initiative and the ability to work independently
  • Strong cultural awareness and excellent language skills (fluent English) to enable communication throughout the organization
  • Successfully completed a university degree in computer science or a comparable degree. (BEng / BSc / MSc / PhD)

Experience Preferred:

  • Professional certificates (one or more): PMP, PRINCE2, Agile PM, SCRUM or equivalent
