Reply is looking for a security architect to apply their knowledge, skills and experience in information security to help identify, articulate and design solutions to mitigate cyber and information security risk. They need to have an understanding of applying business context to information and cyber risk in addition and to conceptualise technical and operational processes and procedures.

Skills / Knowledge:

* A solid understanding of common network infrastructures such as cloud, Internet, MPLS, WANs, LANs
* A broad knowledge of security controls and control frameworks
* Experience of security regulatory and best practise standards such as ISO 27100x, PCI DSS, GDPR etc
* A thorough understanding of the Information, Cyber and IT security threats and vulnerabilities
* Understanding of business and security processes and procedures
* An understanding of security architectural frameworks such as SABSA
* Ability to perform information security risk assessment articulating and aligning key metrics to risk appetite, Key risk indicators and Key performance indicators.
* Defining security policies and standards in line with business risks and objectives

* Ability to plan and deliver security of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions.
* Determines security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements; researching information security standards; conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments; studying architecture/platform; identifying integration issues; preparing cost estimates.
* An understanding or security protocols and mechanisms, SSL/TLS and IPSec, Identity and access management, Anti malware, web and email security, Data loss prevention, IDS/IPS, etc. Ability to plan security systems by evaluating network and security technologies; developing requirements and related security and network devices; designs public key infrastructures (PKIs), including use of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures as well as hardware and software; adhering to industry standards.
* Ability to prepare preventive and reactive measures; creating, transmitting, and maintaining keys; providing technical support; completing documentation.
* Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
