Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group are expanding their Flight Dynamics Group to support a number of current and future aircraft modification programmes. We are seeking an experienced individual to join as an Aerodynamics Engineer.

Key responsibilities will include

? Assessing the impact of modifications on aircraft performance, stability and control
? Determination of aerodynamic loads using semi empirical methods
? Numerical modelling using tools such as Excel and Matlab
? Analysis of flight test data
? Compiling and checking engineering reports

Experience & Qualifications

Candidates will have significant experience in the aerospace industry with either a degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering, or equivalent experience. The successful candidate?s experience and skills will include the following:

? Strong interpersonal and communication skills
? Experience of using semi empirical methods of assessing aircraft aerodynamic aspects (e.g. ESDU datasheets)
? Familiarity with relevant parts of the Certification Regulations such as CS 25 and Def Stan 00-970
? Numerical modelling using tools such as Excel and Matlab
? A good appreciation of CFD, ideally as an experienced user
