Job Description: · The Desktop Support Engineer role is to provide a single point of contact for end users to receive support and maintenance within the organization's desktop computing environment.· This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and equipment (including but not limited to PC, terminals, printers and scanners) to ensure optimal workstation performance.· The person will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via remote access) in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user assistance where required.

Skills: · Working knowledge of office products, computer peripherals, networking and Windows 2008/2012 server administration including event logs, registry, user administration, terminal services, Windows scheduling.· Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer or similar role· Hands-on experience with Windows/Mac OS environments· Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.· Good teamwork and communication skills.· Good problem-solving skills.· Ability to work under pressure.· MS product certified / A + Certification· Qualified at ITIL foundation level or above· Equivalent and preferably some professional qualifications such as MCP or MOUS certification
