Role: Database Administrator
Location: Leicester
£24,000 - £26,000 + Quality Pension Scheme + Other Benefits

A nationwide, multimillion pound organisation is looking for a new Database Administrator. As part of the role you'll be expected to ensure the efficient transition of large volumes of data within and between internal and external resources. You will have the opportunity to support the security of the data, its accuracy, precision, and availability. If you've got the required skills, this is not an opportunity to be missed.

Main Responsibilities: -

  • Maintain database infrastructure and software functionality
  • Ensure efficient development and integration of database interfaces and financial systems
  • Maintain data security and data standards
  • Advise projects with database and data handling information
  • Data protection - GDPR regulations
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line support to system end-users
  • Work closely with database systems vendors
  • Training users in various interfaces
  • Documentation of processes

Essential Skills: -

  • Minimum 2 - 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Previous database administration experience
  • 2nd and 3rd line support of data system use
  • Experience dealing with vendors
  • Report writing
  • User training experience
  • Direct recent experience using latest CRM and database technologies
