Do you have experience of working with children with challenging behaviour?

Do you have the enthusiasm and knowledge to assist with the wellbeing of children that have been through trauma? If so then this interim vacancy could be just what you're looking for.

Working for a regional Supported housing provider, based within a Women's Refuge, you will work closely with the children identifying needs, offering emotional and practical support.

On a daily basis you will organise and supervise activities with the children including art and crafts, games, music, drama, baking and fun play, whilst promoting healthy relationships between the children and their mothers.

Using your childcare/ teaching assistant background you will ensure that all duties are carried out in a confidential and professional manner, whilst having the ability to liaise with other staff within the organisation and statutory agencies

Working pattern is 7hrs per day 2 days per week (flexibility on days)
