The Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst will own and manage the integrity and timely provision of business information and KPI’s via the Qliksense BI tool to both internal and external customers. Including, but not limited to, the provision of agreed KPI’s and reports, development of report specifications, development of reports (Qlicksense and NPrint), security of the reports (internal and external) and change requests for new reports and dashboards.

Main Roles and Accountabilities

Change Control

·Ensure requests for new reports and/or dashboards are managed via a change control approval process.

·Implement and chair BI change control board.

·Develop the change control process.

Reporting

·Develop an overarching BI framework for all to be able to use and become familiar with.

·Creation of new reports specifications for Qliksense and NPrint.

·Amendments of existing report specifications.

·Create a standard format (look & feel) for all reports and presentation of data.

·Interpret the data/reporting outputs to be able to provide clear understanding to managers.

·Investigate any abnormalities within the data/reporting outputs.

·Ensure no new reports added or existing reports amended without appropriate approved specifications.

·Management of the report specifications on Sharepoint.

·Create marketing leading customer reporting that will differentiate B&H Worldwide from its competitors.

Development and implementation of Reports and Dashboards

·Implement and maintain agreed reports and dashboards from report specifications for Qlicksense and NPrint.

·Translate existing SSRS (and other) reports to Qliksense or Nprint reports based on specifications.

·Work with stakeholders to ensure reports and dashboards fulfil internal and external requirements.

·Fully test each report and acquire sign off from the stakeholders prior to publishing the report.

·Implement the necessary report security based on the report specifications.

·Ensure a clear understanding of the Operation of the business and therefore be able to ensure the capture of relevant data.

·Work with management to drive efficiencies the use of the BI tool.

License Management

·Understand the Qliksense and NPrint licensing agreement in place.

·Monitor license usage and notify CIO and Group Finance Controller if license usage reaching agreed maximum usage.

·Allocate users to licenses where required and agreed via change control.

Qualifications and Experience.

·Degree in IT or equivalent

·Good understanding of BI tools and processes

·Good working knowledge of Qliksense and NPrint

·Understanding of Microsoft SSRS
