As our reputation for proficient delivery of complex projects grows even stronger, we have a need for Technical Support Co-ordinators to work on site for a key client in Derby.

Job Role
You will be working in a busy environment ensuring that the lifetime quality record documentation for key nuclear components is correct and to the requirements of the customer purchase order. As a Technical Support Coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring the manufacturing supporting documentation is conforming to stringent nuclear standards before it is passed on to the supply quality engineer. You will work closely with production, manufacturing engineering and quality.

Job Requirements
You will be mainly responsible for:
Ensuring compliance to customer order requirements through verification of manufacturing documentation
Reviewing and business acceptance of customer definition and format, quality assurance requirements and quality documentation and labelling requirements
Verification of completed inspection process, supplier quality assurance documentation and material test certification for material/bought in parts and liaising with supply quality engineers and Customer
System management and control of all materials/items that are released to manufacture through the 'Release at Risk' process
Checking that appropriate issue statuses of control documents/drawings have been used and welding parameter / NDE module/report checks against procedure
Ensuring any non-compliance is accurately recorded and that associated rework is fully documented and closed out, capturing and closing out of all customer 'in-process' Hold Points and preparation for gated review process meetings
Continuous improvement of 'Right First Time', including data capture of complete manufacturing routing process issues, feedback/suggestions to appropriate areas and compilation of metrics to identify trends /target areas for problem investigation and improvement activities
Product Release - generation/verification of guarantee of conformity documentation and signature on behalf of business and managing secure storage, scanning and archiving of lifetime quality records.

Meticulous attention to detail and adherence to processes
Logical systematic approach
Self-motivated and able to work alone and as part of a team
Computer literate and proficient in MS Excel and Word
Ability to communicate with people at all levels and in all departments
Willing to take on additional team duties and support other areas when required
Flexible to work to meet the demands of the business at key critical times
Quick to learn new tasks
Experience of using SAP would be an advantage but is not essential
