Job purpose:

The purpose of the Market Access Strategy Manager role is to be a subject matter expert in UK Market Access to derive insight and intelligence from the current commissioning environment to inform access strategies across the life-cycle of the product.
The suitable candidate will be responsible for early commercial and market access assessment and evaluation, portfolio prioritization of early pipeline assets across UK and Ireland and delivering compelling value propositions and commercial value offerings to improve patient and health-system outcomes drive positive policies and ensure uninhibited on-license funding for our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

?Through an in-depth understanding of the external NHS, UK healthcare
environment and commissioner-provider interface, work with the franchise teams in the development of brand related Market Access (MAx) strategy for oncology assets in various stages of their life-cycle
?Responsible for the development & execution of an integrated early launch readiness strategy for our pipeline products across UK and Ireland
?Development and implementation of late life-cycle management strategies
?Through customer insights, anticipate challenges and opportunities and
ensure that the brand related MAx strategy is competitive and addresses the changing external environment
?Provide subject matter expertise to support Heath Service managers in key stakeholder meetings
?Lead activities around service/patient/funding pathway mapping and
solutions generated to improve customer engagement and where possible patient outcomes
?Working cross functionally, leveraging our understanding of the external
environment and using our in-depth knowledge of the brand strategy to
create new commercial/value offerings for Novartis brands
?Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure full alignment of all commercial value offerings and models

?Bachelors? or Masters? degree or equivalent in education, science or business
?Minimum 3 years experience in pharmaceutical industry
?Market Access, Medical or marketing expertise is required
?Cross-functional and matrix working
