Group Project Manager (IT Applications)
We have a permanent role with our Glasgow based NON FINANCIAL client.
The purpose of the role is to define, manage and execute Application Projects and Macro Plan Projects across the regions and group functions. These IT projects are with the group transformation/business strategy.
The role will involve the creation of the project business case and clear articulation of the benefits and outcomes. You will build and lead the project team to deliver across the various streams of the project. Projects may span the Regions, Operations, HR Sales and Continuous Improvement.
You will facilitate and schedule all key project gate reviews to ensure that the required level of management control is in place.
You will also be responsible for status reporting on progress to plan; key risks and issues to the PMO, Project Team and to Business stakeholders. Presenting information on project outcomes; successes and challenges on a timely basis and shaped to the relevant audience.
The role will be based in Glasgow, with a small element of international travel when required.
We are keen to hear from you this week if you have the following background/experience:
- Degree qualified in a relevant field
- Project management, delivering software/applications projects for a minimum of 4 years
- Prince 2 accredited or similar
- Agile experience
- Strong stakeholder management skills
