A leading Global Energy Client is currently looking for a Consultant to work as a Lead Site Technician to work on their offshore wind farm project. This role will be based offshore on the installation platform and is due to start from the 1st March 2018 up until 31st December 2019 with the possibility of extending thereafter. You will be based in the North East of the country with a shift pattern of 12hrs a day 7 days a week, 2 on / 2 off duty. Accommodation will be provided on board the vessel or floatel.

Responsibilities:

- Emergency packs / stretchers.
- Write RAMS for Site Technicians.
- To prepare and maintain POB sheet and associated documentation handed over by packages.
- To prepare daily work for Site Technicians.
- Maintain defect list for daily planning meetings.
- To order parts needed by the Site Technicians via onshore OOS.
- Order tools needed by the Site Technicians via onshore OOS.
- Maintain inventory list and tool container.
- Assist offshore OOS with JU duties.
- Maintain PPE.

Qualifications of Candidate:

- 5 yrs relevant experience as a Lead Site Technician.
- 3 yrs experience of working in a similar role.
- Must have all valid GWO certs.
- Trained and authorised by the fall arrest system manufacturer to repair and replace SRL fall arrest systems.
- Educated: Rigger/Bandsman/Slinger/Cutting/Grinding/ Drilling and confined space.

Special Provision:

- The Consultant must bring his/her own mobile telephone (i-Phone 4S, 5C, 5S, 6 or 6+ or a Window phone 8.1) & PC with MS Office software.
- The Consultant must have his / her own PPE equipment.
