Your new school
This school is a mainstream secondary school based in Chepstow. The school has 1200 pupils and employs over 180 staff including support staff. The school has a large sixth form that attracts children from across Gwent, the Forest of Dean and the outskirts of Bristol. In the school's most recent inspection it was rated as a 'Good' school. Due a planned absence of permanent member of their Humanities faculty they are currently recruiting for qualified teacher to teach a timetable of Religious Education lessons.
Your new role
You will work as a part of large department and will be responsible for teaching a timetable of mixed ability KS3 & KS4 R.E classes Full time 5 days per week. You will have full teaching including lesson planning, assessing and marking work along with working along with working as a form tutor.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified teacher and you will have previous experience of delivering Religious Education within a secondary school. You will have a passion for learning and have a strong track record of helping pupils to achieve results. You will also possess strong behaviour and classroom management skills. You share a commitment to safeguarding and hold a DBS check.
