Penguin Recruitment are pleased to be working with one of the UK's leading developers in the Park Operator sector on the appointment of a senior level Town Planner.
Working in-house alongside a wider team of 50 you will report to the Chairman and Estates Director and work on an array of existing projects, new instructions and will provide advice on how maximise current land held by the company. Subject to the teams/company's performance you will assist in the development of the team through additional hirers of planning professionals.
This is a particularly exciting opportunity as you would be the first Town Planner in the team and will provide planning advice, be responsible for the preparation and submission of planning applications including, where appropriate; reserved matters, discharge of conditions and S106 obligations and negotiating with Local Planning Authorities and stakeholders to gain support and consents for a range of developments.
In order to apply you will have/hold a Town Planning qualification with significant post qualification experience within a planning and development environment, preferably including clientside experience. It would be advantageous if you held experience in the residential and mobile home/caravan sectors but this is not essential. You will be a chartered member of the RTPI, a methodical thinker and a confident communicator.
