Purpose of Role

To enable learners, through guidance and support, to achieve their aspirations and goals.To deliver effective teaching, learning and support to learners for qualifications.To evidence progression against targets set in negotiation with the learner to meet their individual needs.To deliver the Learner Impact Goals & KPI’s to your caseload of learners.Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Deliver engaging and creative learning to meet the needs of the learner including those with barriers to learningDeliver learning and Evidence progression to meet the targets set for the learner to enable learners to meet or exceed their goalsMotivate, enable and drive learners to achieve their goals through outstanding teaching and learningCreate individual support plans tailored to learner’s individual needs reflecting results of initial & diagnostic assessmentsProvide continuous and effective Information, Advice & Guidance to learnersProvide pastoral support to learners as required to aid engagement & achievement of their goalsDeliver and facilitate teaching, learning and support that encourages accelerated and autonomous learningDeliver a consistently high standard of performance against Learner Impact Goals & KPI’sSupport the learning process through the development of learning resources and utilising the Fuse platformEngage and coach the learner’s Employer/Mentor to provide adequate support and guidance needed by the learner during the working dayComplete detailed documentation to evidence the need for Learning Support FundingWork collaboratively with and provide accurate updates to the appropriate ADC on a monthly basis and support the ADC in the timely achievement of the qualificationMonitor learner’s welfare, health and safety in the workplace upskilling learner’s knowledge regarding Safeguarding, British Values, Prevent and Equality & DiversityEngage in CPD activities to enhance knowledge and skillsConsistently demonstrate the Remit Cultural and Brand ValuesQualifications, Experience & Knowledge:

Proven track record of delivery of Functional SkillsExperience of/Proven Track record of working with learners with additional needsProven track record of consistently exceeding targetsIT LiterateExcellent communication skillsAbility to plan, organise and prioritise workloadAbility to work towards given deadlines and targetsKnowledge and/or Experience in delivering of ancillary topics; Safeguarding, PREVENT, British ValuesGood standard of general education including 5 GCSEs – English and Maths at grade C or above or equivalentFunctional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths, or a willingness to work towards within a given timeframe.Good standard of general education including 5 GCSEs – English and Maths at grade C or above or equivalentFunctional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths, or a willingness to work towards within a given time frame.AET (Level 3) or an equivalent Teaching/Training qualificationGood standard of general education including 5 GCSEs – English and Maths at grade C or above or equivalentFunctional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths, or a willingness to work towards within a given time frame.Desirable:
