Instructor - Animal Care
Nacro are looking to recruit an inspirational Instructor of Animal Care which encompasses teaching employability skills with an identified pathway into Animal Care. The ideal candidate must have high integrity, professionalism and a genuine interest in the welfare and care of animals. They will provide quality education and training to young people at Nacro in Sheffield.
The ideal candidate will deliver training to learners on Nacro's Study Programme, ensuring they all reach their maximum potential. This will include delivering training, planning and assessment to acquire recognised qualifications and support young people into employment or further learning.
You will also have excellent subject knowledge and be able to offer a range of strategies to deliver outstanding lessons. A thorough knowledge of the UK curriculum is essential as you will be required to implement subject specific planning and preparation which will be delivered through City & Guilds and One Awards/NOCN qualification specification.
You will support the delivery of a busy weekly training schedule centered on a vocational pathway within the animal care sector, including assessment, registration and certification of students. This will also include the implementation of equality and diversity and health and safety.
A DBS check will be required for this role.
Salary for this role based on the hours of work will be £12,460 per annum.
