Our client is an established IT service provider, providing quality service across the UK. Our client has recently undergone a restructuring and is now looking to expand its IT presence. If you are interested in what the role entails please read on.
What The role entails:
This role will oversee the full life cycle of the clients' application software. Developed using in-house resources and supplemented by contract resource where appropriate the clients' application software is a mixture of back office systems and end user facing websites, including integrations with 3rd party systems.
In this role, you will be the leader of project delivery services to the client and their customers, visibly advocating and being the role model for the application of and adherence to project governance and best practise. You will ensure that valued resource within the Delivery team is being utilised effectively in accordance with the clients' business priorities. You will also carry the trust, authority and respect of the clients' internal and external stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Able to manage and support diverse project activities.
- Support the planning and delivery of projects to budget, timescale and specification.
- Monitor progress of documented requirements against plan, assessing risks and taking appropriate action to ensure targets are met.
- Provide performance tracking, transparency and issue resolution on project activities.
Enable the implementation, operation and ongoing support of standardised project delivery processes with specific responsibility for:
Planning and control
Delivery team Resource management - Product Delivery Managers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers.
