This is your opportunity to put your theoretical knowledge into practice, by supporting SEN students at this friendly Croydon secondary. This teaching assistant role will combine relevant training and paid work experience which would support any future academic applications.

You will be working mainly on a one-on-one basis providing support for a child who has autism and communication difficulties. You will need to display a motivational, engaging and patient manner throughout this role and be proactive to ensure the students are fully supported.

To be considered for this role you must be a graduate with a passion for Special Needs or Child Psychology and will be supportive caring and build a good relationship with the student that you would be working with. We want to see graduates with the ambition to become Educational Psychologists, Child Psychologists or teachers keen to build relevant experience in a paid role providing support for children who have autism and communication difficulties.
