Smart Ticketing Project Manager ?London - 6 months

I am currently seeking a Smart Ticketing Project Manager to implement a new solution to my clients ticketing infrasturcture.

What you?ll be doing

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • To project manage and oversee the effective delivery of the smart ticketing workstream ? Delay repayment scheme
  • Produce the required project product set and status reports to ensure project requirements, approach, scope, goals and deliverables meet the agreed business goals;
  • Liaise with suppliers, internal and external stakeholders for implementation of the required solutions for the smart retail offering;
  • Effectively manage all members of the Project Team ensuring that Work Packages are issued, progressed and monitored on a regular basis and that they are delivered within budget and agreed timescales
  • Work with system integrators to develop and deliver required system functionality and specifications

Who we?re looking for

As a minimum you?ll need to have:

  • Extensive background in the delivery of ITSO smart ticketing projects, preferably gained in the UK rail industry;
  • Strong experience in managing technology and business change projects, including experience of specifying and delivering technology solutions;
  • Excellent communication and team management skills with strong people and influencing skills;
  • Proven track record of managing third party suppliers in complex projects within challenging delivery deadlines and project targets;
  • Qualification of a recognised project management methodology, preferably Prince2 certified
  • Commercial acumen with proven ability to negotiate successful outcomes with external parties.
