Graduate Teaching Assistant | Role Information:

As a graduate teaching assistant you will be supporting learners who are looking to achieve A*/A equivalent predicted grading in order to aid them in reaching their highest potential. On occasion you may also be required to support learners who are bordering on the C/D equivalent borderline so that you can support them in achieving at least a C grade. Some of the students you support will be classed as 'pupil premium' or 'disadvantaged' due to their socio-economic background. You will often lead small group interventions with students who require additional support to achieve their target grade, whether that be high achievers or those bordering on the C/D border.

Graduate Teaching Assistant | Person Specification:

To be successful in your application for a graduate teaching assistant position, you must be a recent graduate, ideally of a core subject. You should have achieved at least a 2.1 or above, alternatively if you are a graduate of maths or science a degree of 2.2 may be considered. Russell group degree desired. As a graduate of a top university you will have the confidence and subject knowledge so that you are able to support students and emphasize with a range of learners.
