1st Line IT Service Desk Analyst - Active Directory, MS Exchange, MS Outlook, Remote Access Software, ITIL - Wythenshawe - £20k + bens

1st Line IT Service Desk Analyst is urgently required to provide IT support to all of the company?s users (1000+). You will be responsible for raising incidents and requests using the company?s Service Desk Management solution and for diagnosing and managing these incidents and requests to resolution, in adherence with the organisation?s Service Level Agreements (SLA's).

1st Line IT Service Desk Analyst Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality 1st Line IT Support
- Record all incident/ request details and resolution activity into the Service Desk solution
- Provide root cause analysis and troubleshooting, ensuring that all data is accurate and up-to-date
- Provide a high level of first time fix for all incidents and requests
- Produce standard and ad-hoc Service reports for the Service Desk Manager
- Out-of-hours support on a rota basis to conduct key system administration

1st Line IT Service Desk Analyst Skills and Experience:
- Substantial 1st Line IT Service Desk experience, ideally in a multi-tiered Enterprise environment
- In-depth experience of Active Directory, MS Exchange, MS Outlook and remote access software
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills with a customer-focussed attitude
- A good telephone manner with previous experience of using Service Desk tools
- Qualifications in or knowledge of ITIL Service Management best practice would be advantageous

Whilst the majority of the role will be 1st Line/Help Desk/Service Desk Support, you will be actively encouraged to carry out other tasks including software installation, setting up laptops/ desktops/ handheld devices and user training on certain products. This is a busy environment wherein organisational skills will also be needed.
