Main responsibilities

This is a great opportunity for you to shape and influence the training and development for our Financial Advisers to ensure we continue to provide the best possible advice and experience to our customers.

As a Training Consultant your primary focus will be delivering the induction training of Financial Advisers who are new to the Society, having the ability to design, facilitate and deliver this to a wide audience.

Working within a people focused environment you will be expected to train technical knowledge, soft skills and how to use these effectively during the advice process. In addition to this you will also be involved in the delivery of other internal training programmes in order to help support the Financial Advice team, in turn helping the wider society meet their strategic goals and deliver the best experience to our colleagues.

Ideal candidate

As a trainer you will have excellent communication and delivery skills with an ability to think on your feet and adapt to new people and environments quickly. Having a background in Finance and holding a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning is a must as well as a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an advisory or technical based role. Whilst we are advocates of development and training we ideally want you to have the confidence and ability to deliver training programmes from the offset.
