Network Support Analyst - CCNP, BGP, Cisco, Security (ISE OR ASA OR TRUSTSEC)

My Global Leading Construction & Engineering Consultancy seeks a dynamic, intelligent and technically astute 3rd Line Network Analyst with 4 years minimum solid hands on Network Support experience, ideally with strong 3rd Line CCNP, Cisco, BGP, LAN/WAN skills with as much Security (ISE, ASA & TrustSec) etc.

The ideal 3rd Line Network Engineer will have demonstrable and proven track record of supporting an array of Network technologies including Cisco, BGP, LAN/WAN skills with as much Security (ISE, ASA & TrustSec) etc. ideally certified to CCNP (R&S) level.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills a must, as is a passion for supporting network issues with following technologies - Cisco, BGP, LAN/WAN skills with as much Security (ISE, ASA & TrustSec) etc. ideally certified to CCNP (R&S) level.

This is an operational role supporting various technologies that make up this large global network. There will be involvement in occasional design work and opportunities to assist with global project roll outs; the team are currently engaged with rolling out a new edge design incorporating Cisco Umbrella, in the near future work will be starting on Cisco ISE deployment.

Again, main attributes for the ideal Network Analyst are as many of the following:

  • Minimum CCNP (ideally R&S qualification).
  • At least 4 years hands-on experience in an operational enterprise environment.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.

? Strong knowledge and experience of BGP routing protocol and WAN technologies.

? Experience of Cisco security technologies, including ISE, ASA and TrustSec.

? Ability to work with vendors to troubleshoot problems across hardware, software and supplied services.

  • Experience of working with Carriers to troubleshoot circuit status and delivery across the Arup WAN
  • Possess strong operational experience, alongside strong design ability
  • Sound troubleshooting skills
  • Catalyst 3650, 3560, 3850, 2960, 4500, Nexus 7k, 5k & 2k
