Our client a leading charity based organisation in Chalfont St Peter are looking for an Admissions Administrator to provide an administrative and secretarial service to the Admissions Office.

Key Responsibilities
Booking of medical appointments and bed management as required.
Delivering administrative support to ensure each patient’s admission/discharge process needs are met.
Preparing and maintaining medical notes for admissions.
Dealing with telephone queries from patients, consultants etc.
Typing of discharge summaries.
Maintaining internal note tracking system.
Providing cover as needed to Admission team colleagues and across the Medical Secretariat.

Skills
Essential
Previous experience in administration
IT literate, including creation and management of spreadsheets
Excellent typing/data entry skills
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent organisational & administration skills
Empathetic/confident telephone manner
Can remain calm when under pressure

Desirable
Experience in copy/audio typing
Experience with medical terminology

Hours: Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm
