The Role
In a varied remit that covers customer and insurer analysis, predictive modelling and customer segmentation – the team has a pivotal role within our head office, directing future strategy and keeping us ahead of our competitors.
As a Customer Insight Analyst, you will be responsible for driving the analysis that supports Swinton’s Marketing, Product, Anti-Fraud and Insurer Relationship strategies. You will liaise with internal departments to devise data driven strategies that will identify improvements to maximise value to Swinton through acquisition, retention and customer relationship development.
Operating as a key business partner you’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to truly understand their business areas challenges, and be able to understand and translate that into insightful and actionable analysis that will result in improvements for Swinton.
You’ll also be able to;•Develop predictive models/segmentations using statistical methodologies to solve business issues.•Deliver regular management information on specific KPI’s relating to the performance of Swinton from a customer perspective (e.g. acquisition, product holding, retention and value)•Build a network of data and IT contacts across Swinton

What we’re looking for
You’ll already be working in a similar and looking to broaden your experience, in an exciting time for our business.
Whilst you’ll have the analytical skill set, you’ll be able to translate analytical thinking into 'easy to understand' commercial concepts and be confident in presenting technical information in a variety of mediums to colleagues.You’ll be highly competent in Data Analysis using SAS, SQL or equivalent and Statistical Modelling using SAS Enterprise Miner, KXEN, R, Python, Emblem or equivalent
As well as;•Educated to degree level in a numerical discipline•Experience of influencing stakeholders to own way of thinking•Competent in MS Office - particularly Excel, Word and Powerpoint Desirable Skills•Campaign Selections processing, using SAS CI Studio or similar.•Previous experience of web reporting/analytical tools•Previous experience of Machine Learning•Previous experience of BI tools such as Cognos, Tableau, Qlikview or Power BI•Previous Experience of GIS Software•SAS Certification
