Co-op Insurance is an award winning provider of general insurance products in the UK, with around 1.4 million customers coming to us for services including motor, home and pet insurance. We're making massive investments in tools and technology that'll help us achieve our goal of becoming market leaders in customer satisfaction. And right now we're looking for a direct marketing consultant to join our insurance marketing team, who play a vital role in helping re-brand and re-purpose our award winning business, and deliver innovative direct marketing campaigns that have a serious impact on the commercial performance of our business. It will be a role in which you'll combine the creativity and the numbers.

As a direct marketing consultant with us you'll develop, deliver and track integrated campaigns that'll really boost our sales figures, using insight to drive the value from each campaign. You'll liaise with our customer contact centre to make sure they're prepared for any spikes in demand. And you'll quickly adapt to the challenges of working in a heavily regulated business, forming great relationships with teams such as compliance, risk and product so you can create amazing campaigns that resonate with target customers.

What you'll do:

* Work closely with external creative and media agencies on delivering direct marketing campaigns in line with agreed budgets and KPIs

* Be the point of contact for the wider marketing team during the campaign development process

* Engage with the wider Co-op group to plan and deliver campaigns effectively

* Closely monitor campaign results and drive performance, using test and learn methods

* Use data to track campaigns, demonstrate performance and support recommendations

* Work closely with the contact centre to ensure marketing campaigns are clearly briefed to our advisors, including running workshops and stand ups

To be successful in this role you'll need plenty of relevant experience, the relevant qualification and the ability to build great relationships with all sorts of different people. As a true self-starter you'll quickly get up to speed with a varied workload, and you'll relish the challenge of multi-tasking and working together with your team to manage conflicting priorities. Of course, if you've got experience in a regulated business then we'd love to hear from you. But that's not essential.

We'd love to talk to you if:

- You've a marketing degree or CIM accreditation

- You're used to managing direct marketing campaigns through media, preferably within the financial services industry although this isn't essential

- You can confidently build positive relationships with external agencies, and have done so before

- You've a track record of managing the performance of campaigns by gathering and analysing relevant data and information
