Head of Online (Digital Communications, Mgt & Strategy) Genuine Career Oppty

Department: Marketing

Responsible to: Director of Product and Marketing

Location – High Wycombe, Maidenhead, Marlow catchment area

Salary: c.£50-55k plus bonus, negotiable as key hire, plus company benefits.

Working exclusively as client’s main agency, a national provider of various communication platforms within online retail and healthcare goods industry enabling global brands to engage, educate and influence consumers and professionals.

We are looking for at least 5 plus years within digital/online. May be someone that has been an online marketing manager within a large company looking to progress or someone already at a head of level. People Management will be key for this role and covers a broad range of disciplines in terms of the team eg design, email, SEO, CMS, client implementation etc as these are the specialist functions within the team

This role will be responsible for developing the team in line with the overall strategy plan and making it happen.

Purpose of Job (Summary)

Responsible for managing the strategy and implementation of marketing for the online channel

Key Responsibilities

Developing and implementing channel marketing activities that drive registrations and traffic across brand portfolio

Oversee the delivery of all client work through the client implementation team

Develop and oversee the campaign marketing plans for key initiatives

Provide support and guidance around online marketing trends to key stakeholders

Identify priorities and quick wins and get buy in from key stakeholder to execute activities supporting these

Work closely with other marketing team members to ensure required digital marketing materials and assets are produced and activated effectively

Understand performance metrics and apply learnings on an ongoing basis

Work closely with email and content team to ensure channel partner requirements are met and continuously reviewed and improved

Train & develop team members

Gatekeeper of the overall look and feel of the online channels

Measurement

Traffic

Registrations

Client and House Campaign Effectiveness

Consumer engagement (UVI, Pack pick up, App download, Social engagement)

Competencies:

High level of experience in online marketing and system development is essential

Results orientated

Ability to prioritize multiple workflows

Ability to transform propositions and tactical opportunities into real results

Confident in managing any day-to-day issues as and when they arise

Strong team leader

Good communication skills – stakeholder management

Effective decision maker
