Location: Nationwide all reporting to MoJ HQ, London, role regionally based across Wales. (expenses covered)
Contract Length: Contract until End March, the project is scheduled until the end of
September so there is room for a contract extension.
Clearance Level Required: BPSS

Role requirements:
The successful Regional NPS Trainer will report to the EUCS NPS Training Lead and will be responsible designing and delivering a complete training package at multiple sites for colleagues prior to their upgrade to Win 10/O365 and ensuring they have access to online training support.

They must build strong relationships with key Divisional, Local Delivery Unit Cluster and Site stakeholders; delivering their agreed Training Requirements and provide them with advice and counsel based on overall project guidance.

They will be expected to be highly mobile and willingness to travel nationwide is essential. Although they will work primarily in their Region, there is a requirement to cover colleagues on leave in other Regions. They will be expected to deliver concurrent blended learning approaches to multiple sites aligned to the EUCS Futures Delivery Schedule for the National Probation Service. They will be responsible for mapping and tracking the progress of a delegates learning journey from their current technology to the new EUCS Futures solution, supporting a diverse range of needs from Basic Users to Super Users and Assistive Technology Users.

The Regional NPS Trainer will work with colleagues within Training, Business Change, Deployment, Communications and other relevant stakeholder groups across the organisation, to deliver targeted, creative and effective training interventions and capability demonstrations.

They will also take responsibility for working across a range of stakeholders within the EUCS Futures Project and the Business to support the development of briefing documents, Quick Reference Guides, posters and other support materials. The role will ensure all Subject Matter Experts are engaged to help with content as required

o Liaison with key Divisional, LDU Cluster and Site Stakeholders to confirm Local Training Needs, resource and colleague availability.
o Delivery of blended learning approaches to delegates, ranging from facilitating access to eLearning to face to face training sessions for one to one and groups of various sizes.
o Provision of cross-programme support to produce high quality training materials which can be presented to a wide-ranging audience.
o Updating and maintaining training and business change material relating to the programme - newsletters, FAQ documents, one pagers etc.
o Providing training and business change support around internal and external events.
o Contributing to the ongoing development of the training and business change function
o Documenting and delivering the necessary training procedures and processes, including:
o Regional Training Plans
o Additional Regional or Local Training Needs Analysis
o Training engagement tracking using Internet based LMS
o Follow Training Development Requirements in accordance with agreed priorities, timeframes and standards
o Identify and manage requirements with regards to the training required.
o Liaise with stakeholders and delegates to capture lessons learned and good practice in order to better understand and refine both training requirements and provision as part of Quality Assurance.
o Excellent communication and co-ordination skills to communicate complex technical ideas to a wide audience.
o Demonstrable ability to develop and maintain clear and concise documentation to a high professional standard.

Technical Skills, or Knowledge
o Deep knowledge of the capabilities of the latest Microsoft applications; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, Skype for Business etc.
o Availability to travel nationwide
o Numerically and grammatically accurate
o Understanding of Training Needs Analysis
o In-depth knowledge of most appropriate and most effective training techniques.
o Good knowledge of eLearning solutions.
o Experience of identifying training needs for users with Assistive Technology
o Understanding of impacts of major Change Programmes generically, and the issues this specific one could bring
o Working to defined Quality Management Systems

o Experience of National Level Programmes
o Experience of delivery of training to Assistive Technology Users

Experience required and track record
o The successful trainer will be responsible for building strong relationships with key stakeholders; helping to define their training requirements and provide them with advice and counsel.
o Experience of engaging with senior stakeholders, training and business change managers and subject matter experts
o Thrives in a fast-paced environment requiring a high degree of flexibility whilst retaining business discipline
o Delivery-focused and comfortable working to specific deadlines.
o Have a training and business change background.
o Have a 'can do' attitude, be a team player, and be well organised.
o A background in Corporate Training and supporting business change, with experience of conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications, Training, Professional Memberships, or Accreditations:
CIPD in Learning & Development or equivalent
