Academics are urgently seeking an Administrator to work in a school office in a school in Lymington, Hampshire. This is a full-time contract to start ASAP on an on-going/temp to perm contract

You will be responsible for helping to provide an efficient and accessible administration service to support the smooth running and effective management of the school. The job requires both efficiency and well-developed personal and administrative skills.

You will be required to:
Attend work punctually and reliably
Possess the ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with a wide range of people
Possess the ability to organise own time to deal with set tasks effectively
Maintain positive relationships with other staff whilst working in a busy environment
Deal with all external callers in a welcoming and helpful manner
Have the ability to use current versions of Microsoft Office applications competently (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Have the ability to type quickly and accurately
Have the ability to maintain efficient systems for the storage and easy retrieval of information (paper and computer-based)
Possess the ability to use a range of office equipment
Make sure that appropriate levels of confidentiality are maintained
Have the ability to produce complex documents (presentations, statistical, management reports, graphs etc as required)
Ability to work collaboratively with the wider staff group across the site

At the moment the role is focused heavily on recruitment including arranging assessment days for potential candidates.

Hours are Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm with half an hour lunch break (unpaid). The position is full-time, including schools holidays. You will be allocated 7 weeks annual leave which can be taken during the school holidays.

They make sure that coffee levels are always topped up and cake is often provided!

You will be required to undertake a DBS at the of £50.60 if you do not already possess one.
