Platform Resourcing are a recruitment business based in South Wales who cover vacancies across South Wales and the South West.

We are currently working in partnership with a home care provider and they are currently looking to appoint a Training Facilitator who will be responsible for the induction and on-going training of CAREGivers in order to provide the highest quality service to our clients.

The Training Facilitator is expected to promote the role of CAREGivers and work closely with other office staff to ensure that CAREGivers, matched to the needs of our clients and the business, are available at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To deliver training and development programmes, including induction training and specialist/thematic training, according to the required standards, in the office and on occasion in local community venues.
  • Ensure that training is evaluated and feedback obtained from participants to inform future improvements.
  • Maintain paper and electronic training records, keeping them up to date at all times and ensuring certificates are awarded in a timely way.
  • Assist with the ongoing CAREGiver Assessment and Care Certificate programmes .
  • Ensure positive engagement with CAREGivers at all times, from initial contact to ongoing communication with CAREGivers.
  • Build and maintain external relationships to ensure best practice in CAREGiver training.
  • Assist with answering employment enquiries a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner, as required.
  • Contribute to CAREGiver supervisions and annual CAREGiver appraisals.
  • Assist with a range of initiatives to retain our valued CAREGgivers.
  • Assist in ensuring that CAREGivers understand the Home Instead ethos and the ways in which we differentiate ourselves from our competitors.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with Franchise Standards and CQC requirements.
  • Take part in the on-call rota.
Other Responsibilities:

  • Assist with production of performance
  • KPI reports for Management Team
  • Assist with the implementation of new recruitment strategies within the community, to including attending local events
