Business Development Manager (IT)


Salary: Up to £100,000 p.a. basic + uncapped commission

Due to an exciting period of growth, my client has an excellent opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join their impressive European Headquarters in Manchester.

My client is a global organisation which provides interactive IT solutions to a number of key markets such as education and Engineering.

The Role

Reporting into the Managing Director for the UK, the Business Development Manager will play an integral role in sales strategy. You will be expected to manage your business pipeline and prospect, qualify, sell and close new business. You will also be expected to show attention to detail with sales figures, when reporting to Board Level.

Skills Experience Required

  • A substantial amount of sales experience within the IT industry. Experience of selling 'eLearning' products, or IOS/ Android applications would be an advantage, but is by no means essential
  • Ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders. Experience of reporting at board level would be an advantage
  • Resilient personality
  • Attention to detail
