Our Client, a leading Media Company based in Sayers Common are currently looking for an enthusiastic, motivating and digitally savvy marketing manager. They’re a very diverse, family-run business and they’ve been operating for over 40 years. With 70 online brands within their portfolio, ranging from classifieds to marketplaces to job boards, they really are dominating the market!


In this role you’ll be directly managing 9 marketers and the main remit of your job will be to oversee the quality of their work, whilst coaching them to drive results in line with our marketing KPIs, which are to

Increase awareness of the company’s brands

Drive inbound business leads for the sales teams


The team look after both B2B & B2C marketing, so their work will vary from

Writing content

Exhibiting at a trade shows for a B2B audience

Sending email campaigns

Building partnerships

Creating sales materials (brochures, leaflets, business cards etc)

Creating landing pages

Responsibilities:

Manage and coach a team of 9 junior marketers

Interview, hire and train new team members when needed

Work with the team to develop marketing plans and campaigns for the upcoming quarter

Work closely with the SEO & PPC team to ensure group-wide coordination of strong campaigns

Sign off the teams work and campaigns, e.g. content pieces, videos, social posts etc

Report back each month on the work completed by the team and the results achieved

Regularly train and knowledge share within your team

Create a team identity


Skills and qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or similar

Commercially minded

Strong copywriting skills (there will be a lot of signing off others in the team’s work)

A good eye for design (they have a design team, but you’ll need to help picture how a strong campaigns will look at concept stage)

Strong coordination and organisational skills

At least 2 years managerial experience
