We are a busy and successful Law firm, growing year on year and we are seeking a Legal Administrator to join our residential property team based in Dorking. You will provide administrative support to the property department and support the team in one of the residential processes ie; post or pre-completion.

Experience is not necessary and the role will offer great opportunities for candidates interested in Law who have recently completed their A Level Law or Law Degree studies and are seeking their first legal role within a solicitors.

We are a firm of specialist solicitors covering the South East and London and we work with FTSE companies as well as smaller private companies. We employ over 100 people across our offices and our firm is accredited by Lexcel.

The Legal Administrator Responsibilities:

Liaising with clients and estate agents to obtain and/or clarify information
Creating files within our case management system
General data administration
Drafting standard letters
Diarising key deadlines and chasing information and documentation from 3rd parties
Dealing with Post Completion Formalities to include:
Drafting standard letters
Lodging applications at Land Registry
Diarising key deadlines and chasing information and documentation from 3rd parties
Serving Notices and associated documentation on freeholders in relation to leasehold acquisitions
Managing and ordering office supplies
Assisting generally with the day-to-day operation of the Department

To be successful for the Legal Administrator you will need to have strong PC skills and an organised approach with some proven administration experience within a commercial business. We will also consider candidates who have an interest in the legal field and/or recent Law Graduates or A Level students who have studied Law but have no working experience.
