Job Title: Seasonal Admissions Assistants

Location: East Molesey, KT8

Salary: £9.95 per hour, plus benefits attached and full training provided

Job Type: Full and Part Hours available, Temporary

Working Hours: The full time hours are will be between 09:15 to 17:45 on a flexible roster which will include working most weekends and Bank Holidays

Closing date: 21/01/2017

Assessment centre: Week commencing January 23rd 2017

Interviews: Week commencing January 31st 2017

Proposed start date: Weeks commencing 27th February and 6th March

The Organisation is looking to recruit a number of full-time staff to join the Admissions Team in March in preparation for the busy spring and summer holiday period.

As a member of Ticket Office Staff your quest will be to bring its vibrant past to life …. It's a captivating place and that's how they would like guests to feel.

About the Role:

You'll join an Admissions Team who've been trained to create a world-class visitor experience. Whether you're selling tickets or fielding questions on all aspects of the palace and its gardens, you'll look to provide the highest level of customer care at all times.

The Candidate:

Confident, outgoing and flexible, you'll be someone who's supported staff and managed cash before in a popular, busy visitor attraction within the heritage sector. Ideally you will already have experience of working in a customer facing role and be confident using ticketing systems.

You will have demonstrated a commitment to maximising income from all avenues including tickets sales, donations, gift aid and membership, whilst ensuring that every visitor receives a 5 star service.

You will not be afraid to show initiative and strive to exceed both service levels and sales targets. In addition to the above, you will also have experience of queue management and managing visitor flow, particularly in areas which experience a high footfall, such as the Magic Garden and the Maze.

Naturally, you'll have a real interest in history, great people skills and GCSE-educated (or equivalent). A first aid qualification would be desirable, and the ability to stay calm whilst working in a busy, fun, sometimes challenging family friendly environment is definitely a bonus.
