The perfect job opportunity for creative and entrepreneurial candidates. Our position of Marketing Assistant / E-commerce Co-ordinator will work across multiple brands including Ralph & Co, & Leo Pet.

Both brands are rapidly growing in the UK & International pet markets. We are looking to build a strong team to continue our growth in the B2B and B2C markets in 2018.

Our Company is a family run business which works in a relaxed but results driven environment. The role will cover a wide range of business areas where staff members will be encouraged to build their skills and have an integral role in the success of the brands.

Responsibilities will cover…

  • Website management and B2C sales across multiple platforms
  • Marketing support e.g.
    - Email marketing
    - Video marketing
    - High quality product and lifestyle imagery
    - Social media
    - Brochure / printed design

  • Sales support
    - Key account management (we deal with multiple high street brands)
    - Promotional material for sales reps
    - Data management and pricing for key accounts
    - Assist in trade and consumer marketing research projects and produce reports and presentations on the findings
    - Sales Rep support

  • Crowdfunding support
    - Our team has successfully launched 2 crowdfunding projects in 2017. We plan on launching 3 new projects in 2018
Location : Initially in Merthyr Tydfil but we will be opening an office on the outskirts of Cardiff in March / April 2018

Working hours :Flexible working hours can be negotiated on a case-by-case basis. For example, candidates may only be required to work in Merthyr Tydfil 3 days a week (2 days working from home) until the Cardiff office is set up.

Candidates must have a full driving license.

Salary : £18k per annum starting salary with additional sales related bonus

Start : ASAP

Type : Permanent. Full time

Ideal Candidate

-University Degree (2.1 or above)

-Experience with Photoshop / photography (training can be provided)

-Experience with e-commerce systems and basic web design e.g. Wix

-Enjoy working in a small business environment

-Happy to work on an ad-hoc basis. Given the Entrepreneurial nature of the job, every day is likely to be different

-Happy to work in a broad, hands-on marketing assistant role

-Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

-Prepared to travel to meet UK clients (no more than 2-3 days a month)

-Prepared to attend international trade exhibitions (no more than 10 days a year)
