Your new school
A primary school located in Croydon are looking for graduate teaching assistants who are looking to specialise in Speech and Language to join their team. The role will begin in January 2018 although the school can hold out for a promising candidate. You will work with a variety of children within the school from a diverse ethnic, economic and social mix which you should be confident and eager to take on.
Your new role
You will be working to support children across KS1 and KS2 at the school to provide speech and language support to children who require such assistance. Your role will entail you dealing with children with SEN, EAL and challenging behaviour.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this position you must be a graduate in any discipline and be willing to work with children. You must have excellent communication skills as you will be working closely with the SENCO and the Headteacher in your training.
