International Brand Development Manager

Edison Bond’s exclusive and retained client are renown and recognized globally as both brand leaders and experts in their field. They design and manufacture traditional Scottish clothing and accessories. With an enviable history and heritage, this extremely prestigious business remains synonymous with premium quality, service excellence and of course the provision of the finest bespoke products available in their marketplace.

Following a recent restructure of their commercial function, undertaken in an effort to further realise their brand growth and development ambitions, the role of an International Brand Development Manager has arisen. This role reports directly to the CEO and is part of the senior leadership team.

This is an all-encompassing and challenging commercial role. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing and developing different brands in the brand house on a global level. Also, working closely alongside managing agents and licensees. A rare opportunity to engage with clients in numerous different continents, with around eight overseas trips a year.

Our client desires a high caliber candidate who is integrated into the fashion world with breadth of experience developing a variety of esteemed brands.

Responsibilities for this Brand Development Manager includes:

  • Strategically evolving numerous brands and integrating them into the company’s portfolio
  • Working extremely closely with managing agents and licensees, with a new business focus on expanding this division
  • Maintaining existing and establishing new relationships with clients globally, with international travel required
  • Liaising with internal teams, providing regular updates and reports to the CEO

Candidates who can demonstrate the following are invited to apply:

  • Brand development experience within a high profile heritage brand and/or premium bespoke clothing/tailoring environment – essential
  • Business to business development experience – also essential
  • Experience of managing and developing teams and people across different internal divisions
  • Strong track records of interacting with senior leadership globally and building mutually beneficial relationships
  • Highly self-motivated and committed to exceeding expectations
  • High degree of personal integrity


This is very much dependent on personal experience with a strong basic salary on offer of 50-70k.
