The SF Group Office Support team are recruiting for a brilliant permanent, full-time Marketing and Telesales Manager role based in an exciting business in Ilkeston.

The successful candidate will already have a wealth of lead generation experience, is passionate about providing excellent quality customer service and in depth experience in telesales or telemarketing.


  • Ensuring personal and departmental standards are met in regard to sales targets, conversion of sales and cancellation rates
  • Participates as a team member in strategic and tactical planning for the organisation
  • Responsible for coaching, performance management and career development of the team
  • Develop new business via telephone and mass communication such as email and social media to introduce and identify leads within the target market
  • Conduct a needs analysis and determine prospects, Identify key buying influencers within these prospects to determine budgets and timeline
  • Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow up communications in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel
  • Work with the Sales Directors and GSM's of Sales to develop and grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet monthly revenue goals
  • Manage data for new and prospective clients within the CRM system ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate and documents are attached where applicable
  • Prepare and analysis sales pipeline reports and dashboard
  • Implements and maintains sales best practices
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of rules of engagement as well as policies, procedures and programs
  • Manages performance metrics for team members
  • Develops, maintains monthly, quarterly team forecasts and reporting
  • Supports all tactical management functions
  • Suggests improvement to optimise lead qualification process
  • Work closely with sales team
  • Perform research and intelligence gathering on prospects
  • Extend/deepen relationships with customers to further qualify and penetrate accounts
  • Report on team performance by identifying and implementing actions needed for achievement of goals

Skills and experience required:

  • Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed determined sales and activity quotas
  • A proven track record of strong client relationships
  • Excellent client service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Minimum level of education requiring Maths and English GCSE
  • Knowledge of regulations relating to compliance, money laundering, Data Protection Act and the FCA principles of treating customers fairly
  • Experience of working within a sales team to deliver personal and overall departmental results is desirable
  • Experience of working within a contact centre environment at team leader level is desirable
  • Ability to work in a target driven sales environment
  • Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)
