Electrician Apprentice (Fixed Term Contract up to 4 years) Location: Louth, LincolnshireSalary: £6,370 per annumFull time: 35 hours per week

They manage almost 26,000 rented, shared ownership, retirement and leasehold homes and are committed to providing high quality services to their existing customers and to developing new homes to serve the communities in which they work.
They now have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Installation/Maintenance Apprentice to join their growing business, where you can develop practical electrical skills alongside working towards achieving City & Guilds Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Electrical Installation at Boston College.
You will join their Asset Management department, who are responsible for the maintenance and repair of all of their housing stock across the Lincolnshire area. Working in customers’ homes, you will assist the team, in an organised and professional manner, with such tasks as repairs to existing light fittings, cables and sockets, repairs to showers, ovens, and consumer units, the installation of new circuits, major works projects such as full re-wires and repairs to air and ground source heating sources.
No two days will be the same and you will enjoy a varied and interesting introduction into the housing sector.
In addition, you will attend Boston College one day per week to work towards your qualification in Electrics.
Due to the technical nature of the role we will require candidates to have at least 3 GCSEs at grade C or above OR new GCSE grade 4 or above, which must include English and Maths.
The successful candidate must also be able to demonstrate our desired competencies which includes; the ability to speak to customers and colleagues in a helpful, polite and respectful manner, the ability to work in a team and someone who is able to listen effectively and take on feedback.
