IQA (Automotive Apprenticeships Sector) – South (Home-Based) - £28-£33k + Car Allowance

Are you an experienced IQA? Do you have experience of teaching or assessing various areas of Automotive subjects? Are you looking to help the minds of tomorrow within your industry?

A role has become available with one of the UK's fastest growing Providers of Automotive Training. This Provider delivers both Apprenticeships in the workplace and classes within their Training Centres. They are currently expanding their team and are looking for an IQA of Automotive Apprenticeship courses.

This role is being offered on a full time permanent basis where you will be based from home and looking after Assessors and learners across the south.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' solid experience within a similar role.

You must be knowledgeable within your sector and be confident to verify full frameworks and standards. You will be a self-starter who can reach well informed and clear decisions.

Excellent organisation, communication and administration skills.

Your specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

-Ensuring learners experience quality service and assessment from Assessors through the conduct of monitoring visits

-Maintaining regular contact with Assessors, Regional Managers to ensure consistency of the assessment process and targets set

-Coaching, developing and updating Assessors in the performance of their role through regular meetings

-Ensuring that evidence recognises, and records progressions and achievement presented by learners and meets all Awarding Organisation Standards To ensure that the 20% training is in line with the Learner Journey

-Ensuring that audit checks are carried out in line with IQA strategy for Standards

-Participating in External verification visits to ensure the necessary visits schedule is adhered to

-Keeping up-to-date with Awarding Organisation requirements through standardisation meetings and involvement in Awarding Organisation visits

Your current experience will incorporate:

-TAQA Level 4 Verifiers Award or equivalent

-NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Occupational Qualification in Automotive

-Occupational competence in the following Automotive areas, Light & Heavy Vehicle, MET, Vehicle Body & Paint, Vehicle Parts

-Experience of delivering Training and Support

In return you will receive:

- A starting salary £28,000 - £33,000 pa
- Car Allowance £350 per month & Fuel Card
