Core competencies:

  • Some experience of Cloud Technology in a Sales/Channel Capacity

  • Able to understand Cloud Technology and your company’s solutions in this area and convey your understanding in a clear and articulate manner to both Partners and End User Clients

The Role

You will inherit a number of partners, both Tier 1 and Tier 2 and will be expected to manage the sales cycles through the various partners and add value to the sales engagement with the End User Client. In addition, you will be expected to seek out new Partners that have synergy with our client and build successful relationships with them.

Whilst you will work at times from the Amersham office, our client will expect you to spend a substantial amount of time at Partners’ sites, ensuring relationships are fully developed and you are well known across their sales forces.

You must be able to manage the end to end (E2E) sales cycle, from: qualification, joining sales calls with clients (both telephone and F2F), add value to both Partners and End Users with positive and innovative sales suggestions, providing quotations and responses to RFI’s & RFP’s through to closing the sale and ensuring all parties remain happy.

You will personally be responsible for growing their account; this involves forward planning, customer awareness campaigns and the provision of timely and reliable management information to support our client’s business strategy, goals and objectives. You will be representing a range of solutions to the partners’ employees and End User Clients and will be actively encouraged to bring insights and intelligence back to the Group.

Deal sizes range from £10K-£150K annual order value and you are likely to carry a target in the region of £400K per annum AOV.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • At least 3 years in a Channel/Partner Sales role, which has included co-selling
  • An absolute self-starter brimming with energy
  • You are hungry and ambitious and on the early ascension of your career with aspirations to progress at a rapid rate and earn 6 figures
  • Excellent qualification skills and able to run the deal without draining the resources of all around you
  • An ability to form strong and mutually beneficial business relationships. You are likeable and form long lasting relationships and can evidence this
  • A track record of achieving targets, goals, and objectives
  • Strong written, listening and verbal communication skills
  • High level of commitment and passion for achieving consistently outstanding levels of service
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to interpret and utilise data and information to contribute to strategic decisions
  • Well-developed negotiating skills
