Our client has an exciting opportunity to join them in the role of Sales & Marketing Analyst, based in Central London.

As Sales & Marketing Analyst, you will be reviewing, analysing, interpreting and reporting on the business’ sales and marketing data; enabling the business to detect and understand trends and issues associated with its sales performance and processes. This is a high-profile and visible role within the business – you will be working with various senior stakeholders and you will be producing reports and analysis that will inform and shape managements actions and decisions around routes to market and sales methods.

Our client is a long-established business and the UK’s leading trade body focused on the Manufacturing and Engineering Sector. They offer a range of professional services - principally regarding HR & legal, health & safety, climate & environmental advisory and training & consultancy; and work with a broad range of businesses, including world-renowned, blue-chip companies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Understand in detail, key sales processes, governance and reporting
• Analyse and interpret data
• Produce high quality reports in multiple formats and from multiple sources, including Eloqua Marketing system and other core business systems – these will include core monthly reports for Sales, Marketing, Membership and other key internal audiences
• Work with the Business Development & Marketing Management teams in improving reporting and compliance
• Become an expert in Sales/CRM system, Dynamics usage, data capture and reporting
• Red flag where compliance is not being met
• Produce presentation material for use in Management and other meetings
• Help organise sales team meetings
• Liaise with other information stakeholders within the business
• Develop and keep up to date Sales Proposal Bank
• Spot trends in data and be able to flag issues early
• Train people on Dynamics in one to one and group situations

Key Skills & Experience Required:
• Experience of working in a similar role within a B2B sales and/or marketing environment
• Understanding of relevant ERP & CRM systems and ability to identify & capitalise on their capabilities – ideally Dynamics and Eloqua, or equivalent Sales & Marketing applications
• Proven experience of producing multi-layered reports
• Strong experience in using Word/ PowerPoint /Outlook and Dynamics or a similar CRM
• Proficient in manipulation of data in Excel to at least intermediate level, ideally advanced
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and sustain relationships and rapport with both internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
• An analytical, methodical, structured approach to work, with strong attention to detail
• Able to work to tight timescales
